As representatives of grassroots economy, small and medium-sized enterprises play an important role in the national economy. Taking Huashan Trading as an example, this article studies the recruitment of general workers in small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises, using theoretical and empirical research methods to collect and organize a large amount of original data, analyze and summarize the current situation and reasons for the difficulty in recruiting general workers and high turnover rate in small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises. The main reasons include the limitations of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises themselves, fierce competition in the labor market among regions, rapid increase in labor costs, unsmooth labor mobility, and inadequate protection of labor rights and interests.
