Abstract: This study aimed to enhance the oil recovery effect of betaine by modifying it with organosilicon surfactants. By analyzing the chemical structure and properties of betaine, the optimal conditions for organosilicon surfactant modification were determined. The results showed that the modified betaine surfactants had stronger surface activity and better stability, and could maintain stability under high temperature and high salinity conditions. In simulated oil reservoir experiments, the modified betaine showed better oil recovery effect compared to unmodified betaine, indicating that organosilicon surfactant modification is an effective oil recovery method.
