钢材作为重要的基础材料,在建筑、汽车、航空航天等众多领域中应用广泛。然而,由于加工环境等因素,钢材表面会产生氧化皮、斑块,龟裂、点蚀表面、杂质和划痕等缺陷,这会对钢材的质量产生影响,甚至可能引发安全问题。当前,我国在钢铁高附加值和高技术含量的产品上与其他发达国家相比存在很大差距,其中一个重要原因是钢材表面缺陷检测技术水平相对较低。因此,本文从提高钢材生产质量和提升成品钢材品质的角度出发,探讨了钢材表面缺陷检测的必要性,并介绍了目前常用的表面缺陷检测方法。通过对比分析,发现光学显微镜和扫描电子显微镜是目前最常用的表面缺陷检测方法,但它们在检测效率、精度和成本等方面存在一定的局限性。因此,本文还介绍了一种新的表面缺陷检测方法——机器视觉技术,它可以自动识别和定位钢材表面缺陷,并实现高效、精确、低成本的检测。最后,本文探讨了机器视觉技术在钢材表面缺陷检测中的应用前景,并提出了一些改进建议,以期为钢材生产企业提供参考。

Abstract
As an important basic material, steel is widely used in various fields such as construction, automobile, and aerospace. However, due to the processing environment and other factors, the surface of steel may have defects such as oxide scale, patches, cracks, pitting corrosion, impurities, and scratches, which can affect the quality of steel and even lead to safety issues. Currently, there is a large gap between China and other developed countries in terms of high value-added and high-tech steel products, and one of the important reasons is the relatively low level of steel surface defect detection technology. Therefore, this paper discusses the necessity of steel surface defect detection from the perspective of improving steel production quality and enhancing the quality of finished steel products, and introduces the commonly used surface defect detection methods. Through comparative analysis, it is found that optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy are the most commonly used surface defect detection methods, but they have certain limitations in terms of detection efficiency, accuracy, and cost. Therefore, this paper introduces a new surface defect detection method - machine vision technology, which can automatically identify and locate steel surface defects, and achieve efficient, accurate, and low-cost detection. Finally, this paper discusses the application prospects of machine vision technology in steel surface defect detection, and proposes some improvement suggestions for steel production enterprises.
