QLU-C10D vs. EQ-5D-5L in Chinese Breast Cancer Patients: Measurement Properties and QALY Calculation

In summary, C10D and 5L have a certain correlation and similar convergent validity. In terms of measuring attribute validation, C10D has good test-retest reliability and shows good responsiveness in the improvement group. However, in Chinese breast cancer patients, the advantages of QLU-C10D as a cancer-specific scale are not fully reflected, as the obtained RE values are all <1, indicating that EQ-5D-5L is more efficient than C10D. Therefore, although QLU-C10D as a cancer-specific scale validates good measurement properties, the choice of QALY calculation should be made based on specific circumstances, or by comparing multiple scales to ultimately obtain the optimal solution.
