Student: Of course! I have really enjoyed my English course here at college. It has been a refreshing change from my high school English class. In high school, the focus was mainly on learning, reciting, and answering questions. However, in college, our English class has taken a more interactive approach. We are encouraged to express ourselves and work on writing short papers with our group members. The class also places less emphasis on memorizing vocabulary and grammar, as those aspects are considered homework that we study independently.

Student: Absolutely. The writing projects have been one of the highlights of this course for me.
