After going through a complicated visa process, I was finally ready to embark on my journey when the COVID-19 outbreak happened. I faced a lot of difficulties, but eventually made it from locked-down China to Sweden. It was my first time traveling alone for such a long time and I witnessed different ways of handling the pandemic in different cultures, which was quite eye-opening.

Due to the pandemic, I was stuck in Sweden for almost three months, mostly working and living by myself. This gave me the chance to reflect on my life and work, despite the uncertainties and difficulties such as flights getting cancelled and countries going into lockdown. However, I continued to work and even held a personal art exhibition in Sweden before returning home. It was an unforgettable experience as the Swedish artists appreciated my work.
