confederacy and cuba

The Confederacy and Cuba do not have a direct relationship, but during the American Civil War, the Confederacy attempted to receive support from Cuba. The Confederacy hoped to establish trade relations with Cuba and even considered annexing the island to gain additional resources and support for the war effort. However, these efforts were largely unsuccessful, and Cuba remained neutral during the Civil War.
