Electrocatalyst Preparation and H-Type Electrolytic Cell Construction for CO2 Reduction
To prepare the required electrocatalyst for the experiment, ammonium tetrathiomolybdate (\u226599.95%) supplied by Shanghai Maclin Biochemical Technology Co., Ltd. and silver nitrate (AR) provided by Guangdong Wengjiang Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd. were used. Ethanolamine (AR) purchased from Tianjin Kemiou Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd. was used for washing the electrocatalyst. Anhydrous ethanol (AR) from Tianjin Damao Chemical Reagent Factory was added with deionized water to dissolve the catalyst during the electrocatalyst loading process. Nafion solution (5 wt.%) (AR) from DuPont and carbon nanotubes (\u226595%) from Zhengzhou Alpha Chemical Co., Ltd. were used to immobilize the catalyst. Sulfuric acid (AR) from Tianjin Damao Chemical Reagent Factory, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ([Bmim]BF4) (\u226598%) and tetrabutylammonium tetrafluoroborate (TBABF4) (\u226598%) from Shanghai Maclin Biochemical Technology Co., Ltd. were used to construct the H-type electrolytic cell. Carbon dioxide (CO2) and helium gas (He) (both \u226599.99%) were purchased from Baoding Jinglian Gas Factory.
