Shipboard Microgrid: A Distributed Generation Approach with SWE, PV, Diesel, Fuel Cells, and Energy Storage

The shipboard microgrid consists of distributed generators, including SWE (Sea Wave Energy converter), PV (Photovoltaic cells), diesel generators, fuel cells, as well as energy storage systems (BESS) and flywheel energy storage systems. These ESS (Energy Storage System) units provide distributed load. Taking into account the participation of aggregated IAC (Inverse Air Conditioners), the composition scheme of the Shipboard Microgrid (SMG) is obtained (refer to Figure 1).
